Home Fire Campaign Event: Fayetteville, NC

Cumberland County Smoke Alarm Rally (10 September, 2016) – Seven times a day, someone dies in a home fire in the United States. Even more frequently, American Red Cross volunteers provide help to families who have lost their homes to devastating fires. It’s more important than ever that we all join together to save lives, reduce injuries and cut down on needless losses from home fires.

On September 10, 2016 IEEE-USA MOVE assisted the Red Cross again (see IEEE-USA MOVEs To Help Prevent Home Fires – May 2016) in this nationwide public initiative that aims to reduce fire-related fatalities in the U.S. by 25 percent within five years.

The IEEE-USA MOVE team provided Red Cross with key support by acting as a communications center for this event (if you look closely you may catch a glimpse of the MOVE truck at :15 in the video below).

The MOVE team is able to help thanks to generous donors like you. Make a gift in support of MOVE and their efforts today.
