The MOVE team joined IEEE Atlanta Section at the Atlanta Science Festival’s Exploration Expo on March 23rd in Piedmont Park. It is estimated that 25-29,000 people attended this event. The section sponsored the Curious Kids Zone where participants met Ken the humanoid robot, toured the truck, made robot pins, spun the Wheel of Engineering, and blew bubbles. It was great fun for all involved!
The MOVE team was proud to participate for the 3rd consecutive year. It is truly a highlight of our STEM outreach efforts.
This is Atlanta’s biggest interactive science event and was FREE and open to adults, families, and children of all ages and interests. The Expo featured than 100 hands-on, interactive science booths from local organizations, universities, and companies.
