3 September 2022 – MOVE’s support of the Border #32 Wildfire (Dulzura, CA) has concluded. Bill Torre & Kathy Herring Hayashi stand in front of the IEEE truck that helped provide a secure connection to Red Cross shelter workers and satellite internet for evacuees.
1 September 2022 – IEEE-USA’s MOVE-1 team has been deployed to support Red Cross operations at the Border #32 fire east of San Diego. Teams are hoping that forward progress of fire stopped, but still gathering info. Evacuated families and red cross are at the high school.
