IEEE-USA’s MOVE Community Outreach Initiative is staffed by a network of hundreds of IEEE volunteers who work with disaster relief partners to provide technology and logistical support at disaster support sites
When not deployed for disasters, IEEE-USA’s MOVE initiative provides public outreach and STEM education at schools, universities, public events and IEEE events the careers and public policy interests of nearly 170,000 engineering, computing and technology professionals who are U.S. members of IEEE.
Donations are sought to help support MOVE emergency deployments and K-12 STEM public outreach, including the costs of operating and maintaining the MOVE vehicles and upgrading their capabilities.
